zerbot

How licensing works

Ask your authorised Zerbot partner.

That one sentence is the whole model. Here is what it means for a restaurant.

  1. 1

    You choose

Your partner shows you Zerbot and agrees the plan, the term and the price with you.

  2. 2

    They register you

Business, outlets, owner and tax details go on record with Zerbot.

  3. 3

    You receive a code

One activation code, by email, for the owner and for your partner.

  4. 4

    You go live

Enter it on each device. The tills and kitchen screens set themselves up.

For restaurants

What you can count on

  • A local partner who is accountable for your setup and support.
  • Reminders long before a licence ends, to the owner’s email.
  • Your data is exportable at any time, even after expiry.
  • No surprise lock-outs: grace first, then read-only, then locked.

For partners

How partners work with us

Partners buy Zerbot credits in advance and use them to issue licences to the customers they register. They decide their own prices and look after their customers. Zerbot looks after the product.

Questions restaurants ask

Can I buy Zerbot from Zerbot?

No. We work only through authorised partners, so that you always have someone local who sets you up, trains your staff and answers the phone. Ask your partner, or find one on our partner page.

Who sets the price?

Your partner. Zerbot does not set or see what you pay them.

What do I receive?

A licence for the term you agreed, and one activation code. Enter the code on each till and kitchen screen. A new device can be added later with a fresh code from your partner.

Why does Zerbot have my details?

Every customer is registered with us with the business name, outlet addresses, owner contact and tax number. The licence, your data and your support relationship are tied to that registration, so nothing is lost if your partner changes.

Who owns my data?

You do. Your orders, menu and books are yours, and you can export them at any time, including after a licence ends.

What if my licence runs out?

Nothing stops suddenly. You get reminders well ahead. After the end date there is a short grace period, then the till goes read-only so you can still see and export everything, and only then does it lock. Renewing at any point brings it straight back.

What if the internet is down?

Your tills and kitchen screens keep working. The licence is checked quietly in the background and remembered, so a bad connection never stops service.
